Hey Konya, let’s take a walk and talk shoes. Do you get it? walk! Anyway, let’s talk shoes. Whether you choose style over comfort or comfort over style, these top 5 bridal shoe picks will make lie a lot easier for you. I’ve hand-picked 5 luxurious designer heels for you to awe over. All perfect for a South Asian bride! You have no excuses not to wear a fabulous pair of heels, first of all, hello it;s your wedding day and second of all, lets be real, you’re not going to be doing a lot of walking. If you do end up in a song and dance afterwards, take em off girl!

Christian Louboutin - Follies Strass

Follies Strass: Cinderella? Is that you?
There’s only one word to describe these shoes and that’s WOW.
These are the most aesthetically perfect shoes and will definitely make you feel like a princess on your wedding day. The crystals dazzling under the stage lights,  matching with your dress and your jewellery and with it being a nude, will suit with any outfit. And with the signature red sole, you’ll sure make a statement with every step you take down to take your vows.

Manolo Blahnik - Lurum

Lurum: Okay.. I can’t cope. This is literally everything and more and ideal for a South Asian Bride. The red, the crystals and the everything in between, it’s completely flawless. The vibrant red most certainly catches the eye, and what I love about it the most is the ankle strap which provides extra security that you won’t have that Cinderella moment. I’m sorry, no prince would be waiting to give those back to you when your already going home with yours. And darling..if I found that left in your venue, even if it’s just the one pair, I’m making it my coffee table centrepiece or dressing table accessory.
Sorry not sorry.

Jimmy Choo - Baily

Baily: I’m not sure if this was the look Jimmy Choo was aiming for or if it is intentional but this is giving me Mughal Dynasty vibes.
Mughal emperors were lovers of precious stones and this shoe is just the epitome of it. It just has royal aristocrat written all over it. If your bridal wear is inspired by traditional Mughal attire then this should be on you to-buy list.
I would say this shoe is quite versatile too and would go with most outfits.  As Jackie O Once said “Pearls are always appropriate.”

Badgley Mischka - Kiara

Kiara: How glamorous is this vintage-inspired satin pump?  Not only am I living for the shade of red, but the embellishment at the back of the heel!.. someone take my credit card away from me! You cant really go every wrong with a classic pump heel and satin is the go to fabric for wedding accessories. I would love to see my brides who are rocking a churidar on their wedding day with these on. How amazing would the whole look be with the churidar trousers gathered on top of these heels with the embellishment peeking through.
I love the stiletto heel on the Kiara too.. don’t foget to paint your tootsies though as you’ll get some serious toe cleavage with these girls.

Manolo Blahnik - Hangisi

Hangisi: Okay this is one for all the girls in the bridal party. The Bride for her pre-wedding and post wedding events, all of the bridesmaid’s, sisters, aunties and whoever else.
The Manolo Blahnik Hangisi comes in a range of shades and i’m pretty sure you won’t have any issues finding a colour match for your theme.
I love that you can all be Team Bride and go for the same look without being absolutely colour coordinated.
Can you imagine the insta-worthy pictures you could take with all the different shades! I would for sure recommend these for your henna night with the vibrant and rich colours. And if you’re splurging, why not rock the matching clutch bag too!
